Responsibilities


  • You will have overall responsibility for compliance and improvement of governance, guidelines and standards for global master data management
  • You will contribute to raising awareness of data quality within the organisation to enable better use of data for digital business models and reporting purposes
  • As the interface between business and IT, you will ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated and well understood
  • You bring a sound understanding of the company-specific business processes as well as the ERP system and data structures in order to continuously adapt data governance to the specific requirements of the company
  • You will support the resolution of data quality issues through the use of appropriate error detection and correction measures in collaboration with business stakeholders and data object owners
  • Ongoing maintenance of the inventory of data elements rounds off your job profile


Experience


  • You have a degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS) or business administration with a focus on IT
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in master data management with various data technologies and processes
  • Ideally, you already have 3 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management and data consolidation
  • You have already successfully implemented data or process harmonisation projects
  • Ideally, you have certification from a data governance organisation or membership of a corresponding association
  • You communicate confidently in English in order to be able to operate successfully at a global level, knowledge of German is an advantage
